Lincoln City's Championship fixture against West Ham United on Wednesday is a complete sell-out at ProAmpac Stadium. The club has detailed a comprehensive matchday guide for fans, featuring an expanded Fan Village that opens from 5pm.
Chris Cohen, the Imps' joint manager, highlighted the occasion's significance ahead of the 8pm kick-off. "I’m sure when the fixtures came out, we were hoping that was going to be the first game of the season," he said. The match presents a stern test for a Lincoln side sitting 18th in the Championship with 12 points from 11 games. Their recent form shows one win, one draw, and three defeats in the last five outings.
Fan Village experience
The Fan Village opens three hours before kick-off with two big screens, one of which will broadcast Liverpool's UEFA Champions League trip to LASK from 5.45pm. Upgraded bars and food concessions are in place, including The Tipsy Imp for premium beers and ciders and locally-sourced food options. The Red Imps Community Trust will have a pod in the village for fans to learn about their community work, while collectible programmes and memorabilia will be sold to raise funds for the Lincoln City Foundation.
Additional facilities include The Clubhouse next to the club shop, serving premium coffee from local specialists Seven Districts alongside hot and cold drinks and food. Poacher's Den in the Stacey West Stand's Co-Op Community Hub opens at 6pm with family-friendly activities, and free football sessions will run on the 3G astro pitch from the same time. Official teamsheets will be available from around 7.15pm for 50p.
Accessibility and support
A matchday familiarisation session for new supporters is free at the ticket office from 6.15pm. The 'Here To Help' supporter liaison team will be visible around the stadium. For fans with visual impairments, free audio descriptive commentary is available; headsets can be collected from the ticket office, and supporters are encouraged to bring their own headphones. Questions about the service can be directed to disability liaison officer Heidi Langham.
Club context and recent form
This home game is a key target for Lincoln, who are yet to earn a point at ProAmpac Stadium this season. "We need to win games at home this year if we’re to achieve what our target was at the start of the season," Cohen stated. They face a West Ham side that defeated them 6-0 in their most recent encounter just days ago, a result that leaves Lincoln with a goal difference of -10 after conceding 19 times in 11 league matches. The Imps' last result was a 2-2 draw away at Millwall on Saturday, with goals from Andrei Coubiș and Robert Nicholas Street.
Looking ahead, Lincoln's next Championship fixture is at home to 22nd-placed Burnley on 24 October. Payment for the Fun Farm Imps Superdraw, offering tickets at seven for £5, is card or contactless only.
