Lincoln City have provided a seating plan update for supporters ahead of their Championship campaign. The Imps went on a stunning 29-match unbeaten run to seal the League One title last season and are finalising their preparations ahead of their first year in the second tier since 1960-61.

What happened?

The club has confirmed that some away supporters will be housed in the temporary stand to the side of the pitch next to the dugouts, while others will be in blocks five, six, and seven of the Stacey West Stand behind the goal.

Why it matters for Lincoln City

This arrangement will make 1,580 tickets available on a match-by-match basis to home supporters. The Imps play their first home Championship match of the season against Portsmouth on Saturday, 22 August.

What comes next?

Lincoln City will look to build on their impressive League One title-winning campaign as they take on the challenges of the Championship. The Imps' first home match in the second tier since 1960-61 will be a significant test of their abilities.
