Lincoln City has confirmed the GRS Signs Stand will become a dedicated area for home supporters starting with the Championship visit of Burnley on Saturday 24 October. The club stated the decision follows a review of stadium operations during the opening four home league fixtures, which included input from the Safety Advisory Group.

Away supporters for the Burnley match and future games under review will now be contained solely within the Stacey West Stand. The club intends for home fans to also continue being accommodated in sections of that stand to maintain a presence. This change affects 559 supporters who originally held tickets for the Northeast GRS Signs Stand.

Ticket relocation details

The affected supporters are being relocated to blocks 3, 4 and part of block 5 of the Stacey West Stand. The Ticket Office will allocate replacement seats, aiming to keep booking groups together, and supporters cannot choose their new place. All original tickets are cancelled and replacement digital tickets will be emailed to the registered address by Wednesday 14 October. Supporters already in the Stacey West Stand are not part of this move.

New tickets for home fans in the GRS Signs Stand go on sale at 10am on Monday 12 October for the Burnley game. Sales for the following Birmingham City match will begin at 10am on Tuesday 13 October.

Additional Burnley allocation

Burnley will receive an additional 115 tickets for what will be their first trip to Sincil Bank since January 1999. The sale details for these extra away tickets will be announced separately. The Stacey West Stand is named in honour of two Lincoln City fans, Bill Stacey and Jim West, who died in the Bradford fire in 1985.

The new seating arrangements will be implemented for the Burnley fixture and remain under ongoing review as part of stadium operations. The club has also confirmed that the decision will be formally reviewed again after the next two home games, against Burnley and Birmingham City, to assess its impact on safety and the matchday atmosphere.
